Inaugural Mental Health Symposium on PTSD and Suicide Prevention

Purpose:

To connect brain health & mental health stakeholders from various sectors to:

• Present and evaluate challenges, successes
  and best practices.
• Discuss points of intersection and opportunities.
• Develop collaborative efforts to expedite and enhance caregiving across all groups.

Objectives:

Provide community stakeholders, wellness practitioners and caregivers opportunities to better understand the mental health challenges affecting many throughout our community while providing a framework for addressing these and associated issues.
 

Key Message:

We have a greater appreciation that all segments of our society are affected by mental health challenges and brain injuries. To that end, The Greater Dallas Veterans Foundation invites Community Leaders, Mental Health Decisionmakers, Policymakers and Shareholders for an in-depth inaugural 2022 Mental Health Symposium: “Proud to be American.”

Each panel will explore the unique ways physical injury and mental trauma present in their segment of society, the methods of healing that have proven to be most successful, and their research, studies and partnerships that advance understanding to increase impact in support of the community at large.
